AVA ELIZABETH CLOSSON
Katie and I announced the birth of our baby girl, Ava Elizabeth, who blessed us with her presence on Monday, October 1st, 2012. As anticipated, it was an exciting event. We are anxioulsy awaiting her first birthday party this fall.
Mrs. Closson and I are both graduates of Michigan State University. We travel to East Lansing for every home football game and enjoy visiting with close friends from our college days.

MEET MR. CLOSSONI have been teaching in Kentwood for nine years. I student taught at Challenger Elementary in third grade and spent three years teaching fifth grade at Brookwood. This year will be my sixth with the PEAKS program and my second as the elementary coordinator for Kentwood's Gifted and Talented programming. I am a 2004 graduate of MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY and a 2011 graduate of Western Michigan University.
My wife, Katie, and I are overjoyed to be parents to Ava Elizabeth who is nearly one. Ava was born on October 1st, healthy, happy, and perfect in the eyes of her parents. Katie and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary this past June and are both teachers. We also share our home with our Chesapeak Bay Retriever, Breslin. This past summer was much more subdued compared to last. I taught summer school and we stayed close to home enjoying weekends at the lake and many sunny afternoons at the pool. Two summers past Katie and I visited our brother, First Luietentant Jonathon C. Rich, in Oahu, Hawaii and I spent a week in the High PEAKS Region of the Adirondack Mountains in up-state New York with my brother, Brian. Katie and I hope to get back to our travels soon. In the meantime, family events, weekends at Grandpa's cottage, and Spartan football games will fill the remainder of the summer/fall free time. Enjoy the site! |
